Building work is under way at the Hall

 

 

Youth drop in

We have had to postpone the drop in until the building work has finished as a safety measure. Word will be put out when we are ready to start again.


Wednesday evenings from 7pm till 8:30pm at the hall is somewhere for the year 6 onwards age group amongst us to meet. We do not restrict them to the hall as we are not that sort of club, but we advise them to stay within the immediate area where we can supervise them. We ask for contact details and any medical conditions we should be aware of. This information is stored under the data protection act guidelines.
    The first night is free and then its 50p per week, the profits are all ploughed back into buying games and equipment. The helpers can be contacted on the night at the hall on :

Refreshments can be purchased from the tuck shop and there are plenty of things to do including  table tennis, pool, snooker, PS2, XBox, karaoke, quizzes etc in the hall. We also like to hold discos or Themed parties whenever we can as they always go down well. And outside if the weather is good there are field games. Unfortunately due to being so popular we have to limit the numbers in the hall on rainy days to 50.

 


 

 

VOLUNTEERING!

Interested? Reffley Drop in rely on volunteers to ensure that Young People can remain actively involved and meet with friends in their local community. Hanging out with friends, playing sports and games is an important part of growing up for all young people. If you can spare a couple of hour of hours per week or feel you have something else to bring to the local young people of Reffley Drop in then email your details to us for more information.

You do not need any experience, training is available and you will receive support throughout your Induction. For the safety of the young people who attend Reffley Drop In, all persons applying to volunteer will be required to have an enhanced CRB and provide two references.
